Was skeptical at first but this is a hidden gem that I am glad I found. Very good place and is a bit different than standard restaurants because you have way more privacy because of the set up. The marinated beef and chicken are amazing .

Service was not the best. Food was decent. Ordered pork belly, marinated galbi with bone, and oyster tofu soup. The pork belly was too fatty and the oyster soup was pretty bland. The redeeming item was the galbi with bone - it was very well marinated and super delicious.Would give this a second try but order differently.

Korean BBQ... delicious. Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. It has a great feel to it.

Great hole in the wall Korean restaurant. If you like Korean fried-pancake, this is the place you cant miss. Also delicious fried duplings

Slightly on the pricey side for a lunch restaurant, in my opinion, but I feel that every dollar I spent was well worth it! My meal is at the bottom of the photo and was the #14 lunch special, their spicy beef, and it was absolutely delicious. At the top is my coworker's meal, which is the #12, their spicy pork. The pork wasn't quite as good as the beef, but still pretty solid. Definitely go with the beef over the pork though! This place is probably a better choice for dinner rather than lunch. Give this place a shot though, trust me.

I ordered a bibimbap and I really liked it. I loved it comes with five different sides like kimchi, small BBQ potatoes, zucchini pieces, fish-cake and something like sour cucumbers pieces. I also ordered fried dumplings. I think it was a lot of food for just one person 😅 so relation between price-quality-size it's good too. It's worthy, guys 🤙🏼

Always a good place for group dinner. You can choose to close the door to your table section if you choose, and you can cook the meat to your liking! The service is always great. Been going here for 2 years now.

Okay, so granted I'm not Korean, but this place rocks in good food and service. Staff is willing to assist with food orders. Give it a try. You'll be happy you did.

We came for our friends birthday and the staff was attentive and nice. The food was good but portions were small. I got a vegetarian bibimbap.

I used to love this place but I just had the worst experience. I would like to preface this with I’m pregnant and got my husband to drive 45 minutes to this particular Korean bbq spot because they use charcoal. Even though there were tables open with ventilation overhead, we were seated at a table that did not have that. Then were told we had to use a plate over the flames because our table didn’t have ventilation, even though that defeats the purpose of coming to this location to get the charcoal flavor. Even using the plate, it was a lot of smoke, so an employee comes and removes our already cooked meat with the tongs used for raw meat only and put it on a plate with raw meat. No one should be eating that and I most definitely cannot risk eating that while pregnant. We will never be visiting this restaurant again.

The restaurant is quite interesting, all food from the menu seems heathly and apetizing. The concept very Korean, try the BBQ is the best option and an experience. Services is corteuous and promt. They even have a button to request server. I was impresed

Paid $19.99 for the super dry and hard "pork ribs". Looked like pork chop to me... not pork ribs.

Great chicken and beef bulgogi, the rice juice served at the end of the meal was perfect and refreshing.

Service was wonderful and the staff very nice. I enjoyed the food and would come back.

Nice place. Choice of gas heat or charcoal. Helpful staff and fresh ingredients. Pretty private, with deep booths. I cooked everything myself, with staff checking in to help cut or advise how to cook. Also, you can get extra kimchi, potato salad, etc. if you ask. No charge. Was recommended by a friend to come here and glad I did.

Food was good, not sure if we just cooked the squid incorrectly, but we were not able to bite into it it all. Definitely could have been a case of user error there though. There was an instance where my date had left to use the restroom, and while she was gone a service cart came careening through the walkway between the tables and slammed into our booth and startled me. Aside from that, the experience was great and the staff came to check on us frequently for pre-bussing and rekindling our grill at the table.

This place was absolutely amazing. Great experience, great food, great price!!!! And fabulous service. Planning to come back soon!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years with my sister and we absolutely love it. We come maybe once a month but we’re always recognized and greeted with warm faces. The food is always amazing whether you want to cook it yourself or have them cook it in the back themselves, it always comes out great. The servers are always accommodating and friendly. Prices are decent for the amount of food being served. Highly recommend the fried dumplings.

What a great experience! Went there twice and on both occasions I was really pleasantly surprised. Food is amazing and staff is very friendly. Definitely a secret weapon in my hole in the wall list!

Been here twice now and enjoy each time. Usually we get the pancake and the ribs. With the toddler we opt to have the kitchen grill the ribs for us. Nice small place. Good service. Has a button to press to request a server to table etc. love the sweet mini soup at the end to cleanse the pallet and or the yogurt drink they have as well. I enjoy the fish patties. Potato, Kim chi, Broccoli sides the most . Definitely try it out, we love this area since closer then China town

First time eating Korean food, the flavors were delicious and refreshing. I highly suggest visiting to try the dishes even the bbq. Will definitely be stopping by again!

Awesome Korean food. charcoal grill gave a little extra flavor but watch for burning too quickly . Love the Melona pops afterwards.

To be fair I didn't order the BBQ. It is a chicken dish they display on the front window. It was like Orange Chicken. A bit on the bland side. I also ordered the pork with spicy sauce - extra spice. It was good, bit not great.

Love coming here. It's a far drive from my house but I am always willing to make the drive if I am craving Bibimbap. The side dishes are delicious. The service is always great. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

My daughter and I order take out from this place on 04/25/2020.Since I was craving korean bbq (pork belly) I didn't mind when the gentleman stated that it would 30 mins for our food but once my daughter made it home .I was so disappointed .I paid $19.65 (total order over $45.00 )for a tablespoon of broccoli, a tablespoon of kimchi and 2-3 slices of cut up boiled pork belly and maybe a 1/2 cup of rice. A complete waste of money. I hope the $19.65 goes a long way , never again

This place is the best Korean restaurant in Houston that I have eaten so far!!The meat quality is so fresh and the staffs are very friendly and helpful.If you enjoy Korean BBQ, I definitely recommend this restaurant :)

I went here for their lunch special and got the Spicy Beef Bulgogi - it was soooo good!You get the typical sides (I typically only eat the veggies) and a full platter of your meat choice. I’ll definitely be back BUT make sure your payment method isn’t AMEX because they don’t accept it.

Real authentic family style Korean. I lived in Korea for 7 years and this restaurant made me feel like I was right back there.

If you want to feast like a king, this is the place to be! Oh my jeebus, this was a meals I ordered the beef combo and it is quite the spread! A lot of food for just 2 people but all worth it. One of my favorite places for Korean bbq. Flavorful and oh for sure smokey! Their vent system need a little updating but it’s okay, food is great so makes up for it. Servers are very attentive so that’s a plus!

A total little hole in the wall on Gessner. We tried it last night and were very impressed! The bathrooms was clean, restaurant and tables were clean. The waiter checked on us frequently and was very very friendly and welcoming. The food was very fresh, came out quickly and nice presentation. Will definitely go again!

I am not Korean so I can't tell if it's authentic or not. Food tastes great. They have movable splitter to make your private seating areas. Very interesting set up. Not a super fancy place. Price is comparable to others.

First time I ever ate at a place where we cook meat and eat tons of sides. I love the experience coming here and I love the meat. Good proportion and great to socialize while dining. It's also close in so it's a little private per table.

Don't go here. Food was below mid-range standards with above mid-range prices. Staff was... Odd. I could run a Korean restaurant better out of my own house and have better food and I know very little about Korean food. Place had bologna, prepackaged noodles, and dollar store quality ingredients thrown together and called it a hot pot... Yes really. Horrible flavor. Horrible quality. Staff made us feel rushed. Not a good experience.

Good korean food with real bbq with fans. Best place i have found so far in Houston (but i don't go out enough). Definitely worth a try!
